Power flushing is a process whereby heating systems are forcibly cleansed using water at high velocity, but low pressure, typically with the age of cleaning chemicals.
The idea of power flushing is to restore heating systems to optimum operation. Over time, depending on their age, usage and type, heating systems get clogged up with sludge, scale and other debris. This reduces their efficiency and effectiveness, ultimately resulting in higher fuel bills and damage to the heating system.
